The slate will be released in various countries in mid-April

Following its launch in Japan, Sony Mobile’s Xperia Tablet Z is getting ready to arrive in various markets across Europe, and pricing info for it is now available online.

The slate will be available on the Old Continent in two different flavors, namely Wi-Fi-only and 4G LTE-enabled, with the former set to hit shelves in 16GB and 32GB variants.

According to a recent article on XperiaBlog, the tablet PC will arrive on shelves in Europe sometime in mid-April, featuring roughly the same price tag in the various markets where it will be made available for purchase.

Thus, the 16GB Wi-Fi model will cost €499 ($650) in countries such as Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, and Spain, and around €530 ($690) in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden.

The same tablet model will be priced at CHF 549 ($584 / €448) in Switzerland, and at £399 ($608 / €466) in the UK.

The 32GB Wi-Fi-only version of the device will be priced at €549 ($715) in Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, and Spain, and will cost around €610 ($795) in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. Users in Switzerland will pay CHF 599 ($637 / €489) for it, while those in the UK will grab it at £449 ($685 / €525).

The 4G LTE variant of the slate, which packs 16GB of internal memory, will cost €649 ($845) in Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, and Spain, while being priced at €660 ($860) in Norway, €670 ($873) in Denmark, €712 ($927) in Sweden, €554 ($722) in Switzerland and £499 (€583 / $760) in the UK.

Xperia Tablet Z sports a 10.1-inch HD Reality Display, a 1.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back with Exmor R sensor, NFC capabilities, microSD memory card slot, and Google’s Android Jelly Bean operating system loaded on top.
