The contest for the happiest market of portable consoles addicted gamers is without a doubt Japan. PSP was launched there in December last year, and almost a month ago, the American got their hands on the much-wanted PSP.

Europe has to wait until the official appearance of PSP, and the only solution for those who cannot wait until then is to purchase the console from abroad.

Not even the rumors about the console's launching in April come true, and the gamers' hopes turned to Amazon's estimation for June 24.

The company announced that the reason for the repeated delays of the console was the impossibility to manufacture a sufficient number of units for an impressive debut. And for that reason, Sony announced the PSP console for September 1.

For Great Britain, the price was set to 179 pounds, while for the rest of Europe users will get a 10 pound discount. The console can run music or video content, and the package will also include a copy of the Spider-Man 2.
