The US and Japan might get them even faster

Not that the Wii needed any more popularity, with all the great titles and those nifty case mods that literally take your breath away, colored Wiimotes are on their way to Europe, as Giszmodo posted yesterday. GoNintendo was tipped off that this may happen on June 29th. Taking into consideration that Europe gets everything last (like a nerdy kid in the back of the classroom), this means that the US and Japan are getting them even faster than June 29th right?

The article on GoNintendo reads: "Once again we have more information that comes from a retailer list. This time around it looks like Nintendo will be releasing different colors for Wiimotes and Nunchucks." Sounds pretty genuine to me. Now, I'm sure you've noticed that I've left something aside. And if you haven't, can you guess? Yup, it's the colors themselves. Not many, just three, but three colors to make up for all of those found in a pretty rainbow. Plus, these ones, you can't even find in the rainbow. OK, maybe just one. Wiimotes and Nunchucks will be coming in pairs of blue, silver and get ready 'cause here it comes: PEARL PINK.

Although the retailer list (as GoNintendo says) also indicated the date - I wonder why they didn't show us the ad itself - there hasn't been any official word on this from Nintendo. But then again, why would the site lie? Now, there's yet another aspect to be deducted from this. As you can imagine, colored Wiimotes will need some colored Wiis to go with them. Actually, that should have been the other way around, don't you think? I guess we'll get our answer in June.
