The team at the Paradox Development Studios working on Europa Universalis IV - Common Sense announces that it is adding an entirely new button for the subject overview screen, which will open up a range of potential options for vassal interactions.

The forum announcement states that gamers will be able to try and steer their subjects in new directions.

Placate Local Rulers is designed to allow players to offer prestige to reduce their liberty desire by 10 percent.

Embargo Rivals will increase liberty desire but will limit the actions of all designated enemies while Enforce Religion will allow players to change the creed of a state as long as they are willing to pay with a 50% increase in Liberty Desire.

Europa Universalis IV - Common Sense will also offer an options to place a relative on the throne of a vassal, and their armies can be subsidized in order to become more effective during wars.

Gamers can also use scutage to make sure that they are not called into conflicts, and a Fortify March choice will take money to improve a fort.

Enforcement can also be executed for culture, and those who are willing to sour relations can choose to get more income from a personal union.

Paradox adds that another option are, "Support Loyalists - Unions don’t have any local ruler that needs to be placated, so instead you have a toggle where you spend 10% of their monthly income each month, while reducing liberty desire by 20% as long as its active."

Europa Univesalis IV - Common Sense arrives on June 9

The grand strategy title already allows gamers to take control of a variety of countries, each of them with a unique set of characteristics and possibilities to be realized.
