The promotion for Europa Universalis IV is set to expire on June 2

Europa Universalis IV, a historical simulation developed and published by Paradox Interactive, is now available on Steam for Linux with a 75% discount.

The game is built on the Clausewitz engine, the same one powering another sim from Paradox, Crusader Kings 2, and a few other titles from the same developers.

Paradox Development Studio is back with the fourth installment of the award-winning Europa Universalis series. The empire building game Europa Universalis IV gives you control of a nation to guide through the years in order to create a dominant global empire.”

The system requirements are pretty regular and most users should be able to run it: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, Intel Core Duo Processor (2GHz or better), 2 GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 6750 / NVIDIA GeForce 320 / NVIDIA GeForce 9600 or higher, 1024MB graphics memory is required, 2 GB HD space, and broadband Internet connection.
