The team at the Paradox Development Studios working on Europa Universalis IV  Art of War announces that it will launch the expansion to the grand strategy title on the PC via digital distribution outlets on October 30.

Gamers who get it will get a very different gameplay experience which includes a range of new mechanics.

Armies can be created using templates, there are new options for fleet use and gamers will be able to experience a new set of features linked to the Reformation, which are designed to capture the essence of the Thirty Years' War period.

Client states can now be created and entirely customized, and there are new ways to deal with the Pope and the Curia.

Trade goods now have fixed prices based on important world events and gamers will have to deal with a new unrest system which will offer more granularity.

Europa Universalis IV – Art of War also includes hundreds of new provinces all over the world, designed to increase the level of detail in areas like Asia and Africa and to give gamers a range of new nations to play as.
