Euro Truck Simulator fans will now be able to experience its sequel with Oculus Rift support in public beta on Steam, available only for the PC version of the game.

Those that are new to the Truck Simulator should know that it is a game that provides players with the chance to drive across Europe, pick up cargo from different cities, and deliver them to their destinations.

Having the Oculus Rift, players will be able to experience the game as in real life. Unfortunately, since Euro Truck Simulator 2 is still in the making, there is no neck simulation for the time being.

However, certain issues can be found, such as no support for OpenGL, distortions might appear when using some menu screens in 3D mode, as well as the fact that it was only tested with the SD version of Oculus devkit.

These are only a few of the problems you might encounter, but developers are working on fixing and improving the game.

Furthermore, if you plan on taking it for a ride, be sure to have a really fast GPU as well as CPU. Plus, players should set up their systems so that the oculus faces the main monitor and play the game in fullscreen mode.
