Who says Macs don't go with games? Every week (if not even more often) sees a Mac game released, complete with demo version for the picky gamer to make up his mind. And yes, those who play puzzle games are gamers too. Today, Mac owners can download and play Escape the Museum, a hidden-object puzzle title set in the National Museum of History. The full game costs $19.95.

What better place to set a hidden object game than a museum? That's right, there is no better setting to choose from. As they begin their quest, players must help Susan Anderson navigate through a series of puzzles to find her daughter, after experiencing a 7.6 magnitude earthquake towards the end of their visit at the museum. Here's the complete storyline below, according to macgamestore.com:

It's a warm day in the city and Susan Anderson has brought her daughter Caitlin to work for the day at the National Museum of History. What began as an exciting day for Caitlin and Susan ends in devastating suspense when, just after closing, a 7.6 magnitude earthquake rocks the city. After getting Caitlin to safety, Susan scours the museum for anyone left behind but is knocked unconscious by falling debris. When Susan awakes she finds the museum left in shambles. Barely able to move from room to room, you must help Susan navigate and work her way through the maze of the museum in a series of puzzles and frantic searching. Can you help Susan get back to Caitlin and escape the museum together?

Players will experience true adventure, according to the features list, with 25 Puzzles awaiting to be solved in 60 Hidden Object levels, complete with Mini Games. Unlockables don't miss either, as players need to find a way and unlock the Antique Round.

System Requirements call for Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later.
