Eric Bana to Star in Romulus, My Father

Bana (Troy, The Hulk) is set to star in Romulus, My Father, an adaptation of Raimond Gaitas' award-winning memoir, according to Production Weekly.

The 37-year-old Australian actor will star in Romulus, My Father, an adaptation of Raimond Gaitas' award-winning memoir, according to Production Weekly.

The movie based on Nick Drake's adaptation of Gaitas's novel marks the directorial debut od the Australian actor Richard Roxburgh (Van Helsing, Moulin Rouge!)

Romulus, My Father tells the story of a young family's bid to start a new life in a hostile country. The movie focuses on the relationship between the boy and his father in the wake of his mother's death.

Shooting is scheduled to start in February in Australia.

Meanwhile, Eric Bana can next be seen on the big screen in Steven Spielberg's Munich, opening December 23.
