Warren Spector, the boss of Junction Point Studio and the man behind franchises like the critically acclaimed Deus Ex, has revealed that his newest project, Epic Mickey, is without a doubt the best looking Wii game ever.

We've already heard Spector and his team applaud his own creation a few months ago, but with development being close to completion, the games creator is even more confident that Epic Mickey will blow away everyone's expectations, and set a new bar for the Nintendo Wii, higher than the one set by titles like Super Mario Galaxy, for example.

"I think this is the best-looking Wii game ever. I think graphically it hits a bar that the best Disney stuff has to hit," Spector revealed. "I think that will appeal to people. At the end of the day, Disney fans and non-Disney fans alike will come away with a greater appreciation of Disney's creative heritage."

Besides the great graphics, Spector is also betting on gameplay to lure in Wii owners that want a special type of experience this holiday season.

"This does not play or feel like any other game, but the gamer can make it feel like a Mario game, or a Zelda game. They determine the pace of play," Spector says.

Epic Mickey is set to arrive this month, on November 25 in North America and November 30 in Europe, exclusively on the Nintendo Wii console.

The game will see classic Disney character Mickey Mouse explore his more devious side, as he enters a different world where he must escape evil characters and bring color back to a black and white world.

Junction Point also revealed a few weeks ago that the game will really take the Wii's power as a console to its limits, in order to render a full world with interesting characters and different challenges for the animated mouse.

Are you looking forward to Epic Mickey or are you cautiously optimistic about Spector's new project?
