Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two will be released later this year onto the PlayStation Vita as Disney has just confirmed that the special puzzle platformer will arrive on the new mobile platform with unique features and a custom Wi-Fi local co-op mode.

Epic Mickey 2 came out last year and, while it looked very promising, it didn't exactly deliver the success Disney was hoping for, so the large corporation decided to shut down developer Junction Point.

Even so, Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two has just been revealed for the PS Vita, with Disney confirming that the special title is making its way onto Sony's powerful mobile platform.

The title is taking full advantage of the Vita's different features as it has support for the front touchscreen during the painting sequences and can detect the console's tilt during the races.

What's more, a special local cooperative mode between two Vita consoles via Wi-Fi is also included in this new version of the game.

Epic Mickey 2 will arrive on the Vita this year, according to PS blog, and you can expect more details soon enough.
