Wireless carrier Sprint and mobile phone maker Samsung have teamed for promoting some of their latest product, while offering users the possibility to enjoy increased access to content on their mobile devices. The Android-based Samsung Epic 4G and Galaxy Tab are included in this deal, as both of them are reportedly going to taste the Sprint ID solution from the wireless carrier.

But this is not all, it seems, as Samsung is determined to promote the Media Hub solution on these devices too, which resulted in a $50 Media Hub credit being offered to all those who will purchase one of the two.

The $50 gift will be offered to all Sprint customers purchasing an Epic 4G or a Galaxy Tab from the wireless carrier between October 31, 2010 to January 8, 2011, a recent post on Androinica points out.

According to the wireless carrier, users will receive a promotion code that would be valid for 60 days from the day it was introduced, or until March 31st, 2011, whichever comes first.

For what it's worth, this seems like a pretty appealing deal, and all those interested in renting movies on their handsets via the Media Hub should head to Sprint and get an Epic 4G or a Galaxy Tab for that.

In the mean time, we should also note that the two Android-based devices are expected to get the carrier's Sprint ID solution.

According to a recent article on phonescoop, the move was already confirmed by the wireless carrier.

It appears that the Sprint ID solution was initially planned for mid-range Android phones on the operator's lineup, including the Samsung Transform and the LG Optimus S, but that high-end devices should also receive it.

The Samsung Epic 4G and Samsung Galaxy Tab are among these devices, though existing Epic 4G owners might be left out of this.

The Sprint ID solution, mainly aimed at offering users the possibility to discover more content, along with a new interface on their handsets, should be pushed to these devices soon, but nothing was announced officially on this.
