Indian company Micromax has just launched yet another affordable Android smartphone, the A30 Smarty 3.0. The handset is now available for purchase via major retailers across the country for only Rs 3,849 ($70/€50) outright.

According to AndroidOS, the smartphone ships with Android 2.3 Gingerbread out of the box, which is one of its downsides.

Still, that’s quite understandable for such a cheap device. Furthermore, Micromax A30 comes equipped with a single-core processor clocked at 832 MHz, 256MB of RAM and 512MB of ROM.

The smartphone sports a small 3-inch capacitive touchscreen display, a 2-megapixel rear photo snapper and a high-capacity 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery.

Last but not least, the A30 comes with microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB), Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity, as well as FM radio and built-in GPS.
