What doesn’t get eaten need not get wasted, argues this designer

In spite of what animal rights activists keep telling people, the fact remains that thousands of chickens are killed on a daily basis in order to keep the food industry up and running.

More so considering that these birds can be cooked and enjoyed in countless ways.

Given the fact that this situation is unlikely to change in the next couple of years, one Welsh designer figured out a way to use these birds for more than just their meat.

Thus, his micro-factory, known as 'The Henhouse,' uses chicken skin to make clothing items such as jackets, and their bones to manufacture dishware, report sources.

As far as we are concerned, this is indeed one very ingenious idea, yet we highly doubt that people will soon be flocking to purchase such items, regardless of how much they may like their roasted chickens.
