14 DAY TRIAL // The owner of a store at the Marketplace Mall in Rochester has to hire new staff as all his workers have quit at once.
Gawker writes that the image has been snapped at a Journeys footwear and apparel shop. The staffers closed the doors to the store mid-day, during the busy “Back to school” period. The owner will probably be forced to pay a fee to the mall for the unannounced closure of the store.
“You abuse your roll and staff,” the message reads. It has been reposted and gone viral on Reddit.
They cite mistreatment and even bring up the manager not letting an employee off work due to health issues.
“Cancer is not an excuse,” he apparently told one of them.
The note is signed Niki, Jess, and TJ – the store manager, co-manager and key-holder.
