Thousands of pages have been written on Victoria Beckham and her diet, although she personally rarely talks about the secret to her thin figure. However, every once in a while, when the rumors get out of hand, the former singer turned fashion designer will issue a statement denying those reports that are the most circulated – and, just like now, they’re mostly on how she starves herself to maintain her figure, the Telegraph says.

Recently in NYC at the New York Fashion Week, Victoria Beckham seemed to put even professional models to shame with her stick-thin figure. Posing next to Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer, Posh came off as the thinnest, which was also confirmed by paparazzi shots of her protruding ribcage and shoulder blades. As expected, this hasn’t failed to spark rumors of an eating disorder again, rumors that Victoria herself puts to rest in a recent interview.

“I am fine happy and healthy.” she says, rubbishing reports she lives on air alone and plenty of water. “It’s irresponsible when people obsess about my size and shape. I appreciate there are young girls and women who look at me as a role model and it is simply untrue to say I do not eat and I am unhealthy. I have a healthy diet, a healthy lifestyle and plenty of energy to run after my three energetic boys and travel the world managing my fashion business.” the star adds.

This is not the first time that Mrs. Beckham has to stand up and defend her delicate frame, which in recent weeks seems to have gotten more and more slender. Just recently, an equally enraged Posh was telling the media that bad-mouths had had her not eating for the past ten years, which, were it to be true, would either make of her a living corpse or a very hungry woman. All this nonsense about her figure and how she starved herself to be thin had to stop one day, she also said at the time.

“Of course I eat. I’ve been accused of not eating for 10 years. If I hadn’t eaten for 10 years, I’d be hungry… I think there’s a big difference between someone having an eating disorder and someone who is controlled about what they eat. I think I could do with putting on some weight but this is the way I am. I am not anorexic or bulimic and I’m not a skeleton. It’s so upsetting. I’m seven and a half stone. I’m very fit and healthy and I feel great. I haven’t changed what I eat. I just feel my metabolism has changed as I’ve got older.” Posh was saying just a short while ago.
