Enlightenment E17 Desktop Environment Gets Another Alpha

Enlightenment E17, a lean, fast, modular and very extensible window manager for X11 that provides all the necessary packages to run a desktop, is now at version Alpha 8.

Highlights of Enlightenment E17 Alpha 8:

• Language changes now always trigger a restart;
• Disabling tiling module now restores original border geometry;
• Various memory leaks were fixed;
• Most config dialogs have been made non-resizable;
• The Everything launcher no longer crashes;
• Menus have been limited to screen size;
• The file manager sidebar scrollbars no longer appear is they aren't needed.

right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
