With all the new hardware products coming out, one would think that 'minor' things like fans wouldn't get much attention, but the fact is that summer is now upon a large part of the worldwide IT market, so cooling solutions, like a certain Enermax case fan, are definitely sought after.
Normally, every hardware components with heating concerns comes bundled or already equipped with the necessary cooling solution.
Still, sometimes an extra kick is needed, and while not every users out there will jump at the chance to change their CPU or video card cooler that often, adding new fans to the case is much easier.
There are also those that want their systems to look as good as they run, hence how fans with LED lighting got so widespread.
It is this very sort of fan that Enermax is
almost ready to send out into the world, complete with 18 LED diodes and 7 lighting modes.
Dubbed U.R. Vegas, the fan has a magnetic slip pad that lets it attach to the inside or outside of a case, provided it is made of metal.
As for actual specifications, the product has a diameter of 120 mm, plus a working speed of 1,250 RPM (rotations per minute), an airflow of 52.51 CFM, fan guard.
Additionally, the noise output doesn't go over 21 dBA, while the long life of 100,000 MTBF should allow it to last a long time, perhaps even more than it takes for owners to get themselves a new system or change their current machine.
Finally, the USB interface is used to provide the spinner with the necessary power and the price will be of $20 when sales finally start, which should be before the ongoing month (June, 2011) is out. Prospective customers will have to choose between red and blue color options.
