Comaptble with almost anything out there, but no LGA 2011 support

We haven't seen so many top-flow CPU coolers coming out lately into the market as most makers have turned their attention towards tower heatsinks, but Enermax still has some love left for this type of design as it recently announced the ETD-T60 series.

This is comprised out of two solution with almost identical specs, but the ETD-T60-VD model comes with a red & blue LED fan with no less than 11 switchable lighting modes.

In order to draw the heat away from the CPU core, the ETD-T60 is equipped with six heatpipes measuring 6mm in diameter that use a special arrangement, two leading to one side of the heatsink while the remaining four are routed to the other side of the cooler.

Enermax says that by employing this design, the cool and warm segments of the heat pipes are placed next to each other, so that the heat can be spread and dissipated more efficiently.

The fin stack was also optimized for high performance operation using Enermax' proprietary VCF (Vacuum Effect Flow) design which creates an air channel with the fin flaps.

Thanks to this design approach more air is sucked through the fins by utilizing the differential pressure between the heatsink’s internal and external air temperature.

Furthermore, the ETD-T60 is attached with Enermax' new patented AAP (Auto-Adjustable-Pressure) universal Brackets.

The so called AAP brackets support various CPU sockets and delivers improved contact pressure (from 18 to 28 Kgw) between the CPU and the cooler.

The AAP retention mechanism is compatible with a wide range of Intel and AMD sockets, including LGA 775, 1155, 1156, and 1366 as well as AMD's AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+, and FM1, but sadly support for the LGA 2011 socket is missing.

Enermax' ETD-T60 cooler should be available as we speak and the ETD-T60-TB, equipped with a non-illuminated 120mm fan, has a recommended price of 54.90 Euro, while its LED sibling has an MSRP of 59.90 Euro. Both prices include VAT. In the US the coolers are priced at $59 and $69, respectively.
