Enermax has just announced the introduction of six new power supply units which can deliver between 350W and 850W of power and are destined to be used in both mainstream desktop PCs and advanced multiple GPU gaming systems.

The new series is called NAXN and the recently introduced PSUs are split into three different product lines, depending on the 80Plus certification received.

Starting from top to bottom, the most powerful unit in the NAXN series is the modular 82+ 850W power supply unit which can deliver a total of 62.5A (750W) over the four 12V rails available.

In addition, the PSU also carries 80Plus Bronze certification and provides two 8-pin PCI Express connectors for multi-GPU systems.

Next in line is the NAXN 80+ series which is comprised of two models, a 600W and a 500W PSU, both featuring 80 Plus certification and a silent 12cm fan with intelligent RPM control.

And finally, the least powerful of the three series released is the NAXN 80 line which doesn't feature any sort of 80Plus certification and drops almost of the features of its older brothers.

The three models in this range can deliver 350W, 450W and 550W of power and features dual 12V rails.

All the models, however, carry OCP, OVP, OPP and other sorts of protection circuitry, PFC (power factor correction), and are ErP Lot 6 (EuP) 2010 ready, meaning that, when used together with a compatible motherboard, consume less than 1W in standby mode.

The two more powerful NAXN PSU series also come with a technology called HeatGuard which leaves the fan running for 30-60 seconds after shutdown to dissipate the remaining system heat.

The Enermax NAXN 350W, 450W, 500W, and 600W units are priced at US $44, $49, $64, $74, respectively, while the NAXN 82+ 750W is priced at $134. The 850W model is yet to be priced.
