It is a mid-tower "cutting-edge solution" for enthusiasts and gamers

While Thermaltake has the mid-range market covered with its Urban S31 and similar cases, Enermax is tackling the high-end consumer market, having updated its Fulmo line.

The first Fulmo case was launched back in 2011, and there wasn't any update to the series until earlier this year, in February.

It was precisely the Fulmo ST that was exposed, but it wasn't an official introduction. Instead, it was more of an early preview.

Since CeBIT 2013 was going on at the time, the company used that as an opportunity to give everyone a sneak peek of what was approaching.

Now, the Fulmo ST mid-tower chassis has finally been officially introduced.

It has eight hidden 3.5-inch drive bays, ten 2.5-inch bays (eight convertible from the 3.5-inch ones), three 5.25-inch ODD bays (tool-free thanks to SlideIn locker) and support for ATX and micro-ATX motherboards, and 8+1 expansion slots.

Design-wise, the three-dimensional black iron mesh is the most obvious asset. It optimizes cooling and allows the light of the LED fans to be seen.

Speaking of which, Fulmo ST has one or two 140mm fans on the front, as well as a 120mm normal spinner at the back, two optional fans at the top (or a 240 mm radiator), an optional spinner on the bottom and, finally, an equally optional fan for the HDD.

What's more, Enermax included a full-cover acrylic side panel and 32 mm of clearance for easy backside cable routing.

It should be easy to set up a powerful gaming PC, provided that money isn't an issue. Even triple-VGA graphics card configurations are an easy fit. There is enough room for models of 412 mm length.

Finally, the company tossed in a front I/O panel with two USB 3.0 ports, a pair of USB 2.0 ports and HD audio jacks (speakers and microphone). No price is known yet, alas.
