Peripherals might not get as much attention as video cards or new CPUs, but they definitely have a special place in the hearts of users, especially those of gamers, so Enermax decided to deliver a new Aurora series keyboard.

While a common keyboard out of a plain cardboard box is all that a regular PC needs in order to function, there are those that do not settle for that much.

Gamers and any other enthusiasts are especially inclined towards acquiring the more intricate and feature-rich of accessories.

On the other hand, there are those that want their office computers to have an appropriate degree of aesthetic value and functionality.

For the latter category of customers, Enermax set up the Aurora series of keyboards some time ago, back in 2006 to be more precise, which is composed of models of various designs.

Now, the outfit has added a new member to the collection, one dubbed Aurora Lite and which connects to the computer not through a regular port, but the USB (universal serial bus) connection.

This isn't the only thing more or less 'unusual' about it, as it has several design elements that set it apart form the fold.

Some consumers may have been surprised by the fact that the peripheral is wired instead of equipped with a wireless technology.

Enermax also put in rubber stands, meant to prevent slipping, as well as the Scissors technology, which makes typing smooth and silent.

The product also boasts a brushed aluminum casing and a size of 460 (L) x 160 (W) x 9.2 (H) mm, plus a small bonus.

Said bonus is a pair of USB 2.0 ports which lets it act as the medium between the host PC and other devices that are plug & play compatible, like flash drives.

Enermax Aurora Lite will become available sometime next week for a price of £49.90. Information on it can be found here.
