Users can test Endian Firewall Community 3.0.5 Beta 1 now

endian S.r.l. announced the immediate availability for download and testing of the first Beta version of their upcoming Endian Firewall Community 3.0.5 operating system, a minor release that contains numerous improvements and fixes more than 350 issues.

Prominent features of Endian Firewall Community 3.0.5 Beta 1 include a "Network types" feature injected into the uplink editor and network wizard components, designed to allows users to differentiate between firewall setups in various network topologies.

Moreover, this maintenance release introduces a new bridge mode that adds support for transparent implementations, and significantly improves the performance of the log analyzer functionality, as well as sending of notifications by rewriting the event management engine.

Users will now be able to create firewall rules and routing policies, thanks to the new TPROXY support introduced in the HTTP proxy component of Endian Firewall Community.
