Seeing how there are only 350 Sumatran tigers left in the wild, it is no wonder that the people working at the San Diego Zoo Safari are quite proud of their latest “settlers:” two cubs belonging to said species.

Just recently, the cubs were introduced for the first time to zoo visitors.

Together with Delta, their mother, Conrad and Thomas entertained the public by doing what they do best: exploring their enclosure and sleeping.

Zoo employees hope that the people coming to see these Sumatran tiger cubs will also be willing to help them raise some funds aimed at implementing conservation programs for this endangered species.
