Playing PES 2014, GTA V, Rome II, Card Hunter and Counter-Strike

Andrei Dumitrescu: This might have been the week that GTA V launched, but I lack both the time and the interest to get involved in the world that Rockstar has created, even if it seemed quite impressive from what I saw while my colleague was playing.

The bulk of my gaming time is still spent with Total War: Rome II, which got patched once more during the previous week, and I have a new campaign with the Macedonians that seems destined for greatness.

I have already taken over the Greek peninsula and much of Asia Minor and I am wondering whether I want to conquer all the coastline of the Black Sea or if I should try to take out the Romans before they can become a bigger threat.

And if my conquests become a little too easy, I will abandon strategy for a role-playing experience, offered free-to-play and in my browser by the lovely Card Hunter.

I might also spend a little more time with Pro Evolution Soccer 2014, which might be a solid rival for FIFA this year.

Andrei Dobra: This weekend will be dedicated to Grand Theft Auto 5 as while I have already finished the campaign for the review, there are still plenty of secrets that can be uncovered in Los Santos and Blaine County.

While I focused mainly on story missions during my lead-up to the review, I now want to experience the more outlandish side missions which, based on my experience up until now, are much funnier than the main quests of the three characters.

When I am not shooting and driving around Los Santos, I'll jump back into Counter-Strike: Global Offensive as the new Operation Bravo project has sparked my interest in both the new maps presented by the DLC, but also the personalized weapons that can now be scored by players during the game.
