WE plan to play Skyrim, Modern Warfare 3 and Football Manager 2012

Andrei Dumitrescu: I plan to sleep about 8 hours for the days of Saturday and Sunday taken together (I really cannot drop my 10 hours Friday night sleep routine) because I want to get as much out of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim this weekend.

I always loved the idea of a three dimensional, full freedom role playing game with a deep backstory and a rich cast of characters to supplement my love titles like Baldur's Gate and, nowadays, Dragon Age.

I liked both Oblivion and Morrowind but they always seemed to lack something, both graphically and in terms of gameplay, and I could never dedicate to them the time they needed to bloom.

But I will do this with Skyrim, which seems better looking and more concerned with making the player the master of his own destiny that any other title in The Elder Scrolls.

One cannot play just one game for an entire sleepless weekend so I plan to also play some more of my well detailed Liverpool career in Football Manager 2012.

Andrei Dobra: This weekend will be filled with all sorts of different activities, as I'll probably dabble in the multiplayer mode of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, explore a bit of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim as well as try out a beta build of Trine 2.

I thoroughly enjoyed Modern Warfare 3's story mode so it's time to get a buddy and start working our way through the Spec Ops cooperative missions, while also engaging in a bit of competitive multiplayer, even if our skills levels aren't that great.

Skyrim's world is no doubt going to suck me in for dozens of hours, but I'll at least try to ease into the experience to avoid becoming obsessed with this huge role playing game created by Bethesda.

When I won't be filling my time with these huge triple-A games, I have a beta build of Trine 2 waiting for me, offering a welcome change of pace from the adrenaline-filled shooting sessions from Modern Warfare or the immersive mechanics of Skyrim.
