Playing Mass Effect 3 both in the single and multiplayer incarnations

Andrei Dumitrescu: I tend to be the kind of gamer who does not quickly adopt the biggest release of the period, but I must admit that Mass Effect 3, the action and role-playing mix from BioWare, is one of the games that I eagerly waited for and plan to play to completion as soon as I can.

I tried to stage my own media blackout for the game, even though my own job makes this pretty much impossible, and I managed to learn a lot about the game mechanics pre-launch without actually getting spoiled on any of the actual plot points.

This means that this weekend I plan to import my saves from Mass Effect 2 and then play as much as I can of the third game, taking advantage of the fact that my friends are skiing and I need to put no actual effort in my social life.

Andrei Dobra: After a long wait, Mass Effect 3 is finally here and I expect to spend almost every minute of my weekend with the role-playing shooter from BioWare.

I’ll certainly take care of my girlfriend or family, but I intended to at least think of my Commander Shepard and how she’s saving the universe during those moments.

Mass Effect 3 is poised to get me addicted, not just to its great story, which is filled with things to do and quests to complete, but also with its multiplayer mode.

We already spend our lunch breaks here at Softpedia playing online matches and I’m certainly going to play some more games this weekend, as my Human Infiltrator character still has a few levels until it reaches the maximum level 20.

Given the addictive story and the multiplayer mode, I expect to spend quite a lot of weekends with Mass Effect 3.
