Playing Titanfall, Far Cry 3 and Football Manager 2014

Andrei Dumitrescu: My last weekend was spent half in an airplane, travelling back from the E3 2014 event and enjoying some long delays courtesy of the airline, and half staying in bed, unsure whether 33 hours of sleep in one day and a half is a good or a bad idea.

Which means that this weekend I plan to take it easy and focus on spending time with friends, out and feeling the nice weather of this start of summer.

When I am back home, I plan to leave the television set on in order to hear the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil and watch the most interesting moments, while I jump back into Football Manager 2014.

The game does include an option to manage a national side at the same time as a club and I plan to take advantage of it, after some light editing work, in order to taker England as far as possible in the simulated version of the tournament.

Andrei Dobra: This weekend, I'll be roaming the Steam Summer Sale of 2014 for deals on games that are on my wishlist and, while I've yet to purchase anything for now, I'm quite certain I'll cave in to some discount or another.

When I am not prowling the Steam store, I'll probably go back for a bit to Titanfall, as the recent 48-hour free Origin Game Time promotion means that there will be plenty of fresh players across all game modes.

When I am not shooting it out across alien planets with giant robots, I'll probably go back for a bit to Valve's trifecta of online games, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2, and Team Fortress 2, as most of them have received new modes and content and I'm eager to try them all out.

Radu Haulica: Far Cry 4 looks like several bucketfuls of fun, but unfortunately, it's still a ways off, so I'll have to manage with the second best: Far Cry 3.

I plan to revisit the islands, kill Vaas and shoot me some tigers and any other endangered species I can get in the sights of my crossbow. Or better yet, lure them to an enemy outpost and watch the ensuing chaos, THEN shoot them in the face.

After that, I'll probably just wander the map and pretend I'm a cross between Robin Hood and Daryl Dixon from The Walking Dead on drugs, tripping out and thinking that everyone's turned into undead shamblers, and liberating the island in the process.

It should be fun. Apart from that, I'll be dividing my time between sniping some Nazis in Sniper Elite 2, getting ready for the third installment in the series to drop, and finishing off some "wounded" games in the Steam Summer Sale.
