Andrei Dumitrescu: The majority of my weekend will be spent playing Need for Speed: Shift 2 Unleashed with a rather peculiar mix of excitement and frustration, the feeling that this title seems to elicit in me most of the time.

The game is great, make no mistake, especially for those who have a medium-sized obsession linked to fast cars, complex racing circuits and tweaking the smallest aspects of their vehicle in order to win a race.

But I always seem to want to push the realism settings as far as they go only to then fail to perform well enough to progress in Shift 2 Unleashed, which leads to me taking realism down, which leads to game progress that generates another urge to go full simulation.

When I've had enough of the car racing, I also plan to return to Medieval 2: Total War and enjoy the excellent Stainless Steel 6.4 mod, which enhances the medieval feel of the game and makes it somewhat tougher for the human player.

Andrei Dobra: This weekend, after finally completing Crysis 2's single-player campaign, I'll probably indulge in a few more multiplayer matches, largely because it's a joy to use the full powers of the nanosuit in the game.

You do become a bit paranoid after a few matches, always looking over your shoulder in order to make sure a cloaked enemy isn't targeting you, but the different multiplayer modes will definitely deliver a few great moments.

When I won't be using the nanosuit to its full extent, I'll be continuing my playthrough of Yakuza 4, as it's been pretty much neglected while I focused on Crysis 2.

I'm now getting into the meat of the game, going around its fictional Tokyo district and engaging in all sorts of activities like picking up girls for my hostess club or just engaging in 20-minute cut scenes that seem to never end.
