Florian Totu: Wow. This is a bit of an odd moment for me. I've got nothing. Nothing new at least. I wasn't really over with Borderlands when I plunged into Dragon Age: Origins, but I was into the second Playthrough. Now, it's well over a week since I started fiddling with the intricate and treacherous politics of Ferelden, and I don't see myself anywhere near a closure.

I've managed to gather all the allies against the Blight, the humans, the mages, the elves and the dwarves and things still don't seem to be settling down anytime soon. I know an ending can't be far off, since I've been checking the net a little bit regarding items and I've seen that I'm pretty much at the top of the armor tier. But, as far as the story goes, things just seem to escalate.

The one big thing that's taken over this week as far as media game coverage goes is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. As such, I suppose it would be my professional and moral duty to lunge at the game and see just what it can do. But, from my point of view, there is absolutely no way that it can compare with Dragon Age.

This, and the fact that I'm a dedicated PC gamer, have led me to not even purchase the title yet, considering what Infinity Ward decided to do to the PC version of MW2. Don't get me wrong, I didn't even think about joining a boycott or anything similar, at any point. It's its game and it does whatever it wants with it, I have no right to tell it otherwise. But it's my money, and I'm intent on not giving it to it. Yet.

Andrei Dumitrescu: Running the risk of repeating myself, I must say that the upcoming weekend will be dominated by the awesome Dragon Age: Origins, the beautifully crafted role-playing game that BioWare unleashed upon the world last week. I am already about thirty hours in it, I've solved a couple of the big adventures and I am currently exploring the depths of the Dwarven city of Orzzamar. Which is very fun, given the weird nature of the inhabitants that the developers have populated the underground city with. You can read more detailed impressions of the game in the five diaries related to Dragon Age: Origins that I wrote this week.

If I ever get tired of taking out Hurlocks, then I will probably fire up Modern Warfare 2 from Infinity Ward. I am not in the least interested in the multiplayer experience this weekend, even if I may try it at some point. I will probably go a little into the single-player campaign, to see just what the controversy is all about.
