Yesterday, several media outlets confirmed that Chris Brown and Rihanna had set aside all their differences and agreed to give their relationship another go, almost three weeks after Brown allegedly attacked the “Umbrella” singer and left her almost unconscious in his car. Today, the LAPD has concluded the investigation of the case and has turned it over to the DA for prosecution, Radar Online has learned.

Chris Brown was arrested on February 8 on suspicion of making terrorist threats and domestic violence. A couple of days after the altercation, the police sent the case to the DA, but it was returned on the grounds that there was not enough evidence to sustain either claim. An investigation has been going ever since, with several sources from inside the police force telling the media that at least a domestic violence charge was a sure thing. The making-terrorist-threats one, not so much, as it was revealed yesterday.

“The Chris Brown case has been officially turned over to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office today by the LAPD, Radar Online has learned. The Los Angeles Police Department has been working the case since February 8. Brown was arrested after a physical altercation with girlfriend Rihanna. The case had been previously rejected by the DA’s office and kicked back to LAPD investigators, but it’s not expected to be kicked back again.” Radar informs in today’s issue.

While this was going on, the first photographs showing Chris Brown and Rihanna together again have surfaced on the Internet. The now-reconciled duo have been spotted boarding and then coming off the same plane, both in Miami and in Los Angeles, thus confirming that, indeed, Rihanna has forgiven Chris and is willing to give their romance another go.

With Brown scheduled for his first arraignment on March 5 and in light of the report that his case has been turned over to the DA, an announcement regarding the charges that will be brought against him is expected very soon. Stay tuned here for more on this story.
