The development team at Square Enix has launched the end game events for the current incarnation of its MMO Final Fantasy XIV and all those who want to see how the game will end its run are invited to log into their accounts and be a part of it.

Final Fantasy XIV is scheduled to go offline on November 11 and until then the main storyline of the MMO will play out for all players who have remained faithful to it up until this point.

Square Enix is no longer billing those who play the MMO and no more progress for character will be registered after November 1.

Moreover, Final Fantasy XIV is no longer accepting new sign-ups so the final days are only accessible to those who create an account earlier during its life cycle.

At the moment, the development team is also working on Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, a new version of the game that is currently in alpha state and lacks an official launch date.
