Enclave Cheats

In the fantasy world of Enclave the people of Light and Darkness are divided by a bottomless rift that split the earth many millennia ago. The lands of light are prosperous and rich, an Enclave of truth and order, surrounded by the twisted and barren lands of the dark, war ravaged plains known as the Outlands. Over the centuries the rift has started to close, skirmishes along the border have become more and more frequent and it is only a matter of time before these altercations turn into a full scale war. Here, it is up to you to choose. Will you lead the desperate people of Celenheim and save them from destruction, or will you ally with the dark hordes of the Outlands and overrun the Enclave to get back what you claim to be yours? Starbreeze Studios (the developers of Enclave) offer you the possibility of adventuring into the imminent war in this third-person action game.

Each side offers you 6 different classes to choose from. The Light tempts you with honors for Knight, Huntress, Wizard, Druid, Engineer and Halfling. The Dark tries to corrupt you soul by offering the skills of Berserker, Assassin, Sorceress, Lich, Bombardier and Goblin. The battles take place in the fantasy medieval realm where spellcraft and wizardry combine with natural elements to create outstanding weapons and powerful magic.

The visual aspect as well as the sound was remarked as among the top of its time (2003) and still feels pretty contemporaneous. Unfortunately the gameplay was kind of sloppy and I can surely understand if you'd like to manage to uncover the story as quickly and as easily possible just so you don't have to deal with the frequent bugs. It's a shame Enclave II was canceled, I was really hoping to get a second chance at this adventure. Oh well, I guess I'll have to stick to the other Outlands - in World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade.

To enable the cheat mode, you'll first have to change an existing game file. It's not much, but make a copy just in case. The file you are looking for can be found in the Enclave folder and it's called environment.cfg. Open the file using Notepad and add to the original text the following line:

CON_ENABLE=1

You're done with this file. Save it and enter the game. Press tilde "~" during gameplay to bring up the console, then enter one of the codes below to get the desired effect:

cg_menu cheatmenu - Cheat menu (Once you activate it, use the "~" again to see a menu that allows for god mode and complete mission; simply select the one you'd like.)
cmd giveall - Have all items
cmd noclip - No clipping
