Empire: Total War “Gold Edition” Released in the Mac App Store

Feral Interactive has released Empire: Total War – Gold Edition in the Mac App Store. A combination of real-time-strategy and turn-based-strategy genres, Total War lets players “command the seas, conquer the land, [and] build an Empire.”

Total War “Gold Edition” is described by Feral as a title of epic proportions with real-time tactics and turn-based empire building in a massive 3D environment, whether on land, or at sea.

“Charged with the fortunes of a nation, you must use diplomacy, trade and military force to establish it as the dominant power of the 18th Century,” reads the plot.

The game is now on the Mac App Store for $39.99 / €31,99. Minimum system requirements include a 2.0 GHz processor, 4GB of RAM, a 256MB graphics card, and around 15GB of free storage space. Empire: Total War “Gold Edition” doesn’t support the ATI X1xxx series, NVIDIA 7xxx series and Intel GMA series of graphics solutions.
