The second development release of the upcoming Empathy 3.10 instant messenger client for the GNOME desktop environment arrived a couple of days ago, on May 3, 2013.

Empathy 3.9.2 is here to fix only four bugs reported by users from the previous development release, version 3.9.1, and to update translations and documentation translations.

The first bug is related to the history function, which used the wrong encoding to display UTF8 logs, the second one is related to a crash with SIGSEGV in listing_failed_cb().

The third bug is related to an online-accounts-preferences crash, which appeared when accounts needed access granted, and the last one is related to new *.page files not being recognized by git.

The following translations have been updated in this development release of the Empathy instant messenger client: Spanish, Hebrew, Slovak, Slovenian, Norwegian Bokmål and Czech. Moreover, the Catalan and Spanish documentation translations have been updated. For more details, please read the official raw changelog.

Download Empathy 3.9.2 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
