The Emmys 2013 ended just minutes ago and, as is the case every year, the awards gala was packed with surprises, plenty of memorable moments, and less than memorable ones as well. A complete list of winners is included below.

Some TV critics were quick to say the show was boring and pretentious but, without a doubt, they all agree on that the highlight of the night was, without a doubt, the James Gandolfini In Memoriam segment, which did not leave a single dry eye in the house.

The gala was held live at the Nokia Theatre LA Live in Los Angeles.

Perhaps the biggest surprise of the night was the fact that there was not one single show to literally sweep most categories, as it’s been known to happen.

On the other hand, this meant that everyone got their time in the spotlight.

First-time winners included Anna Gunn of “Breaking Bad,” who picked up her first Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, and Jeff Daniels, who took home the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his work on “The Newsroom.”

Repeat Emmy “offenders” included Claire Danes, Jim Parsons, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus, but also “Modern Family,” “Boardwalk Empire” and “Homeland.”

The Colbert Report won two Emmys in the Variety category.

Below is a complete list of winners: check it out to see if your favorite made the cut. Of course, keep an eye on this space for more Emmys coverage.
