14 DAY TRIAL // Since she got married in secret last July, actress Kerry Washington has been plagued by pregnancy rumors. Her choice for a dress at the 2013 Emmy Awards did little nothing to make the pregnancy rumors go away.
As you can see in the photo above, though she’s usually a fan of more body-hugging numbers, for Sunday’s event, Kerry opted for a gorgeous Marchesa gown that nearly drowned her diminutive frame.
As the Daily Mail notes, this is exactly the kind of “loose fitting number you would chose if you were in the early stages of pregnancy.”
In other words, because the dress is more loose-fitting, many of her fans and tabs are saying that she’s with child and trying to hide it until she’s ready to make an official announcement.
If that’s really the case, we’ll probably find out soon.
As of this summer, Kerry and NFL cornerbacker Nnamdi Asomugha are married. Only her parents attended the ceremony, of which the media got wind only after it happened.
