14 DAY TRIAL // Julianne Hough accompanied her brother Derek Hough at the Emmys 2013 last night and, though she’s usually a sight for sore eyes on the red carpet of any event, she chose the worst time to make an exception.
The singer, actress and dancer wore a gray-ish sheer Jenny Packham creation that showed off her toned legs – and grandma panties underneath.
Retro pieces are making a huge comeback this year, and the sheer skirt trend is also picking up speed. However, the Emmys red carpet is not the best place to combine both.
Besides the fact that Julianne looked as if she was wearing her swimsuit underneath the dress and was painfully aware of it (the look on her face in most photos says it all), the off-the-shoulder top created the impression that it was about to fall off.
It probably wasn’t but, still, it was not a good look.

Her makeup and hair were both impeccable, though.
