Daniels was awarded the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for his work on HBO’s series “The Newsroom” and he was clearly surprised to hear his name called out.
Still, he delivered a beautiful acceptance speech, thanking everyone from his HBO team that works on the series, to the director and his wife, who was shown smiling widely in the audience.
“We done did it,” Jeff told her.
He also handled the moment when the signal came for him to wrap it up with equal grace.
