With a body like hers, it’s no wonder she’s eager to show it off. Gwyneth Paltrow, who has often been praised for how much care she puts into staying in shape and healthy, wowed with her choice of a gown at the Emmy Awards 2011.

The awards show took place last night at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles and, as usual, the red carpet ceremony was the place to be (or at least keep a close eye on) for all fashion lovers.

While many actresses opted for the formerly faux-pas color for this type of events, red, Gwyneth went for sparkly black – but she more than compensated with the daring design.

With her slightly see-through, midriff-baring Pucci dress putting her perfectly sculpted body in the best light possible, it’s no wonder voices online are calling her the winner of the most daring gown category, if such a thing existed.

Even other actresses felt jealous of how good she looked.

“I can’t stand next to her too long. She looks too good,” Amy Poehler joked.

Speaking with E! News host Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet, Gwyneth revealed the Emmy outfit (the Pucci dress) was actually an easy choice to make: she saw it and instantly knew she’d be wearing it.

“I tried on two dresses and I picked this one,” she said. “My dress is a little see-through, I’m realizing,” she added with a smile.

The dress wasn’t the only thing that drew all eyes on Gwyneth at last night’s big television event, since she was also decked in diamonds and fine jewelry.

The star accessorized with Roger Vivier Spider sandals and Neil Lane jewelry, which included platinum earrings with 7 carats of black and white diamonds, a platinum ring with 5 carats of diamonds, and two bracelets believed to have a total of 100 carats of diamonds between them.
