All bad blood between actor Charlie Sheen on one hand, and showrunner Chuck Lorre and Warner Bros on the other, is now in the past. Let bygones be bygones was the message Sheen sent out clearly at last night’s Emmy Awards in a brief, heartfelt speech.

Sheen was on hand to present the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series, which he referred to as “my old category,” the Daily Mail informs and the video below confirms.

He was clearly referring to the many Emmy mentions he got while he was on “Two and a Half Men,” the show he departed with such fanfare earlier this year, in the midst of a heavily mediated scandal.

While those who have come to know Sheen’s rants would have expected some kind of joke about the show, which will see Sheen’s character replaced by a newcomer played by Ashton Kutcher, Charlie had nothing but kind words to say about it.

“I want to take a moment to get something off my chest and say a few words to everybody at Two and a Half Men,” Sheen said, stunning the entire audience.

What he said next was even more shocking, especially if compared to the things he was saying about the show only a few months ago, before and shortly after he was let out of his contract.

“From the bottom of my heart, I wish you nothing but the best for this upcoming season,” Sheen said, smiling.

He also recalled the great run he had with “Men,” saying he was certain the show would continue to deliver the same kind of excellent entertainment even if he wasn’t on board any longer.

“We spent eight wonderful years together and I know you will continue to make great television,” he said.

When Sheen walked on stage, the camera zoomed in on former “Men” co-star Jon Cryer, who got up and was clapping fervently, as the video below will confirm.
