According to the developers, Beta 2 is a development version for the final release of Emmabuntüs 2, which will be available in September 2012.

Although this operating system is in testing, the developers insist that Emmabuntüs 2 Beta 2 is stable and has been tested on over 20 different computers.

Emmabuntüs 2 Beta 2 comes with a lot of new applications: Blocksi Firefox extension for parental control, Ghostery, Syncplaces, Mozilla Thunderbird, Wammu, UbuntuOne, Geany, Easytag, Gimp, OOo4Kids, TeamViewer, and many others.

A complete list of new applications, updates and features can be found in the official announcement.
