J.K. Rowling's “Lumos” foundation brought together some of the actors from the magical movie series “Harry Potter.” The celebrity fundraiser for Rowling's educational charity started a small “Harry Potter” reunion.

Even if the movie series ended a while ago, the magical world where the movie was made still exists, Harry’s fans can get behind the scenes and enjoy the mysteries of Hogwards by participating in the Warner Bros. Studio Tour of the making of “Harry Potter” in London.

On the tour set, J.K. Rowling hosted her charity event for the “Lumos” foundation, established by the British author to help kids living in institutions across the world. The creator of “Harry Potter” donated almost $38 (€28) million from her personal fortune to the organization.

At the event, Rowling managed to raise almost $1.6 (€1.2) million for her cause. “Since setting up the charity eight years ago to help change the lives of so many children living unnecessarily in appalling institutions across the world, Lumos has already helped governments to take nearly 12,000 children out of these institutions,” the author said according to The Mirror.

Potter stars, starting with Emma Watson (Hermione Granger), Alan Rickman (Profesor Snape), Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) and Warwick Davies (Professor Flitwick), joined Rowling in supporting her cause.

While at the event, Emma went face-to-face with the wax life-size version of Hermione. The beautiful actress posed in front of her doppelganger, replicating her facial expressions and then tweeted the photo saying “Still got it.”

“Harry Potter” fans will soon enjoy another original film by J.K. Rowling, featuring a similar worldwide community of witches and wizards but happening seventy years before Harry Potter was born. After this announcement, Evanna Lynch (aka Luna) tweeted “Even if I'm too old to play Luna, can I go through 10 hours prosthetics to play a crumple-horned snorlack. Please??”
