She may be only 18, but "Harry Potter" lead actress Emma Watson - or Hermione Granger for those of you too fascinated with the movies to know her real-life name - has a very bright future ahead of her. Her acting career is in full swing, she is wildly popular among teenagers everywhere, already a favorite of the UK press, she's beautiful and graceful - not to mention extremely rich, due to her continued presence in the blockbuster Harry Potter franchise. And now, it seems that Emma's beauty struck again - as the young actress has just been confirmed as the new face of the Chanel fragrance Coco Mademoiselle.

Emma has signed a two year-old contract with Chanel and will thus become the new face of the Coco Mademoiselle fragrance, taking over from the equally famous 23-year old Keira Knightley, whose contract to represent the brand expires this summer. This is the young actress' first such major campaign, secured for her by the leading model agency Storm, and it is believed that Emma will be pocketing over $5 million for her endeavor into the world of high-profile modeling.

Apparently, Chanel is not dumping Keira, either, but merely creating a new role for her within the brand - probably advertising for a new fragrance. On the other hand, sources say that they have been focusing on Emma for a while now, dressing her for film premieres and glamorous parties in recent months, to see how well she integrates with the overall image of the brand. "Once it became clear she is growing into a beautiful young woman and wears the Chanel brand so elegantly, they had to sign her up. Chanel realizes it is important to target a young audience", a source revealed to the Daily Mail. Stay tuned for more news on Emma's Chanel move.
