Emma and Alex Watson for Burberry: her leg seems to be missing, reports say

When “Harry Potter” star Emma Watson was named the face of the upcoming Burberry lines back in June 2009, fashion critics said they couldn’t have chosen a better spokesperson, since the actress is the embodiment of the elegance Burberry clothes aims to provide to all women out there. The Spring / Summer 2010 campaign was just unveiled and it seems to have cost Watson a limb, as reports put it.

The shots, courtesy of famed photographer Mario Testino, are nothing short of brilliant, showing the always-stylish Emma side by side with established male models like Matt Gilmour, Max Hurd and George Craig. However, it’s the shot in which she’s shown side by side her younger brother Alex Watson that got people talking since, at a closer look, it would seem that she’s missing part of her leg.

This could very well be yet another Photoshop disaster, reports in the blogosphere are saying, since there is absolutely no way her leg would not be visible in the shot from the angle the picture is taken. After the Huffington Post noticed this, a poll for its readers was put up, to offer them a channel to voice their opinion. So far, it would seem that most agree that the limb was removed thanks to the magic of Photoshop.

“We thought the most exciting part of Emma Watson’s new campaign for Burberry Spring / Summer 2010 was that she was photographed alongside her brother Alex. There’s nothing better than a fashionable family act. But one of the pictures caught our (and Buzzfeed’s) eyes when we realized that Emma may have lost a limb, all in the name of trench coats and plaid,” the Post writes.

The aforementioned Buzzfeed too seems to be of the same opinion, concluding that, while Emma might have lost a leg in the name of fashion, hopes are high she can still use her magic to get it back. Burberry has not yet commented in any way on this, so keep an eye on this space for when a statement comes.

don't you think her right leg's just hidden behind her brother's left legs&pants? her legs ARE quite skinny...

You people are idiots. Look at the pose. Could her foot just not be bent back and against the wall? There are people all over the world who need help and need their stories being shown to the world and what makes the news here, a bad pose...this country makes me SICK!

This just shows how stupid people are. Her leg is behind his! Duh! I hope Burberry doesn't address it, they can't solve people's lack of common sense. The line is gorgeous!

You've got to be kidding me! People can't tell his leg is in front of hers. How can people be so stupid? This just made me sad for the world.

people are quite stupid when it comes to these things.there are one of 3 options.her leg
is behind his,she had an accident tht the media failed to catch,or an honest mistake of the magazine. personally i think the 1st option fits best.
