Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are more than co-stars and may actually be dating, Robert’s former “Harry Potter” co-star Emma Watson let it slip in a recent interview for
EntertainmentWise. In doing so, the actress confirms what has long been speculated in the media, namely that
the two are an item ever since “Twilight” but have not yet gone public because of some PR rule set up by Summit Entertainment.
Although he’s been linked by the media with more celebrities than his female fans might like to count, Robert seems to have been in a serious relationship with Kristen for quite some time, from what Watson is saying. As fans must know, Pattinson and Emma appeared together in “Harry Potter” and, ever since, Emma says, she has been somewhat infatuated with the gorgeous actor who sets hearts racing across the world with a single smile.
Unfortunately, as luck would have it, she can’t do anything about it, since she knows that there is more between him and Kristen than meets the eye and she wouldn’t want to be the one to interfere. “Oh god! He’s absolutely hot! He’s driving me crazy... But we’re just good friends and can be on the phone for hours, because I know that there’s something going on between him and Kristen Stewart. And I’m really happy that Rob became so popular on ‘Twilight.’ He’s so gorgeous.” Emma tells the e-zine.
In inadvertently spilling the beans on the Pattinson-Stewart relationship, Emma Watson confirms what the tabloid media has been saying for months: the two are not just co-stars. The reason for which they are not going public with their romance would be, it seems, the fact that Summit Entertainment, the movie studio behind “The Twilight Saga,” has prohibited them from doing so for fear it would hurt sales for the movie. After all, it is being said, they would not be the first couple to be sacrificed on the altar of the franchise, since
the same reportedly happened to Taylor Lautner and Disney sweetheart Selena Gomez as well.
Pattinson has
repeatedly denied any type of romantic involvement with Kristen, saying that talk of such an affair was nothing short of ridiculous. “It becomes a joke. There was some magazine the other day about me and Kristen and when you look at it and realize it’s on the front of a magazine... You realize that people are actually reading that even though how ridiculous it is. It’s really bizarre.” Robert was saying not long ago. Neither he nor Kristen has yet responded to Emma Watson’s recent comment.
