It turns out that actress Emma Stone is very passionate about wildlife. So much that she has recently teamed up with the World Wildlife Fund, and is now asking people to help the organization protect tigers and other endangered species.

On its website, the World Wildlife Fund details that it is currently trying to raise money to set up sniffer dog patrols.

To this end, it has launched a crowdfunding project. The organization's goal is to raise some $4,500 (€3,275) in 60 days' time.

By the looks of it, this money is to be spent on training dogs that can help rangers better guard tigers, rhinos and elephants currently living in Nepal.

“These rare animals are under extreme threat from criminal trafficking syndicates, and rangers on the frontlines need your help,” the organization says.

It is this project that Emma Stone wants people to support either by making a contribution, or by spreading the news about this latest World Wildlife Fund campaign.

The news that Emma Stone has joined the war against wildlife crime comes shortly after the announcement that Spider Man is now an ambassador for Earth Hour.

Commenting on her decision to also team up with the organization, the actress stated as follows:

“Earth Hour gives you the power to inspire anyone, even if you’re just one person. And Earth Hour is much more than an hour.”

“There are great projects from the crowd, for the planet, happening all over the world,” she added.
