Artificial intelligence explains Eminem’s skill as a rapper in new music video for “Rap God”

Eminem has just premiered the official music video for his latest single off the “Marshall Mathers LP2” album, “Rap God,” and it’s just as amazing as the track. It also tries to explain Em’s superior skill as a rapper by means of attributing it to artificial intelligence.

Because *it contains graphic language that might offend, I won’t embed the video here, but you can check it out on YouTube in full and in HD, as long as you make sure you leave your sensibilities at the door.

Eminem takes on Max Headroom, the world’s first computer-generated TV presenter who first appeared on film in 1985. That’s him in the dark suit and black shades, against a backdrop of moving images, for those of you too young to know Max.

Meanwhile, in another room, the real Eminem is being fed all kinds of information straight into the brain, by means of several cables connected to the back of his head. Footage of rap icons, video games, and historical events play on the screens in the room, thus explaining how Em became this skillful, the “God” that he is.

The music video already sits at over 2.1 million views, which further confirms what I’ve been saying all along: Eminem is back and his fans love him more than ever.
