Grudging rapper Eminem has just announced that he will be taking the famous singer Rihanna along with him on a mini tour named after their recent collaboration “Monster.” The musical duo will be hitting a few of the biggest American cities this summer.

The news comes via XXL Magazine, which did an interview with the Detroit rapper. “There are some shows coming up with Rihanna,” Eminem said, adding “It's a three-city tour: New York, L.A., and Detroit coming in August. The Monster Tour.”

Later, Eminem took to Twitter to make the news official by cryptically writing “NYC/DET/LA this August with @Rihanna! #TheMonsterTour.”

By all accounts, Rihanna has set aside at least some dates this summer since Eminem is breaking the news that they'll be performing on stage. But since this isn't the first time the two have worked together on a project, it's likely that she knows a tour with Eminem is always a profitable experience.

Before they collaborated on “Monster,” the pair have also released “Love the Way You Lie” back in 2010, a song which enjoyed massive success in the charts, staying at no. 1 for seven weeks. They also worked on the sequel to that song, “Love the Way You Live (Part II)” and then later, on Rihanna's track “Numb.”
