Fans who loved rapper Eminem in “8 Mile,” which also marked his debut on the big screen, will most certainly be thrilled to hear that he’s bound to make his return to acting soon.

What’s even better for those waiting anxiously for the rapper to prove his worth as an actor, he will get to share the screen with the likes of Anthony Hopkins and Rachel Weisz.

“Eminem is reportedly returning to acting with a role opposite Sir Anthony Hopkins and Rachel Weisz in new movie 360,” Contact Music reports.

As noted above, this would not be the first time that Em is giving acting a try, though it may prove an excellent occasion to show that “8 Mile” was more than just one lucky instance for him.

“The rapper made his big screen debut in semi-autobiographical film 8 Mile in 2002 and has appeared as himself in a recent episode of Entourage and in Adam Sandler’s 2009 comedy Funny People,” Contact Music says.

According to the same e-zine, “360” would tell the story of several pairs of characters, which would be shot only before or after making love.

Another possible role for Em that is subject to massive speculation online right now is that of the villain in the upcoming “Batman” film.

We told you yesterday that Chris Nolan is officially on board “Batman 3,” on whose script he’s also working, after brother Jonah did the first draft.

Fans must know that Nolan also said that he would not recast the role of The Joker, since it would not be appropriate to do so after Heath Ledger’s tragic and untimely death.

Speculation is running rampant now that the villain in the third – and final – pic would be The Riddler, with Eminem reportedly in the running for it.

Admittedly, Em told his management – in more or less words – that, “When it comes to business, you know I ain’t no fiddler…You tell them Batman biggies, I wanna play ‘The Riddler!”

Now, his people are working overtime to get him into an audition for the part, word has it – but they also have to deal with the harsh reality that Joseph Gordon-Levitt is also going for the part.
